About Robin

I’m a former journalist and communications specialist based in southwestern Ontario.

I graduated from Western University with a Master of Media in Journalism and Communication (MMJC) in 2017. After completing my internship at CBC Sudbury, I continued to work as a reporter and associate producer in Sudbury, Kitchener-Waterloo and London, covering local news for radio news, current affairs and digital platforms. 

In 2019, I took the skills I built as a journalist and transitioned to communications. As the Communications Coordinator for the City of Woodstock’s cultural services department, I handled marketing and communications for the Woodstock Art Gallery and Woodstock Museum. 

In my current role as Marketing and Communications Specialist, I collaborate with departments across the City of Woodstock to develop multi-channel communications plans and create engaging content about city services, programs and events.
